taking planes

Tomorrow (today, actually. it's so late.) I board a plane to Alaska for a week and then head to Berkeley for a "life time out." Going to take some art classes, meet some new flower peeps, explore flower fields, art museums, and learn about a new city. This whole being between lives thing is really panning out for me. Here we go....

rainy days necessitate flowers like these. I'm remembering what spring feels like and how incredible peonies are. They're just incredible. Unreal. Back to tea, computers, and editing photos....

Turns out I was right all along. When in doubt, head to the ocean. Everything will make sense again.

some photos from a self produced photo shoot of a vineyard wedding we did. very soft and textural bouquets with scabiosa pods, dahlias, roses, blackberries, succulents, dusty miller, and smoke bush tufts. yes smoke bush tufts! enjoy.

camera

Snagged a few photos of an order from today on my studio mate's spankin' new camera. Jealous x 10. The arrangement is nice and all, but I think the camera adds a certain something.

taking a flower break to bake some cookies. must say, i'm pretty impressed with the results. about half of these are in my stomach now. i always bake just as many as i can chew.
